How will my cats behavior change as he gets older?

I have a male cat that is roughly 19 months old. I have started to notice that his behavior is changing and that makes me sad. Is it his age or can be environmental? How will my cats behavior change as he gets older?
Yes, they will become less playful, but they will still be frisky. Honestly it depends on the cat. I have 3 and all of them are completely different. As far as playfulness, they all lost that always play attitude as time has gone on, but they will all still play, 1 more so than others. Finding the right toys, is kinda key, and you playing with him. Boys do tend to be lazier, at least thats what I noticed with my male cat. Most cats can't resist boxes, all mine go NUTS over them. Try incorporating more toys and put a small box somewhere. Also, it will help if you get another cat, they do play with each other. I would make sure its a female, males hate other male cats. Just make sure both are spayed/neutered. If you have any further questions please feel free to email me.How will my cats behavior change as he gets older?
He will eventually become lazier and less playfull. He will also like to be sleeping alot. How will my cats behavior change as he gets older?
All adult animals have different behaviour from when they were young. At 19 months he is fully mature (hopefully he is neutered as well).

Playing with your cat can help him keep the kittenish side of his nature - get fishing rod style toys, jingle balls, catnip mice etc. Otherwise he will spend most of his time eating, sleeping and grooming and being a bored cat.
