Are boy dog marks on everything how can we change this?

On Father's Day are yorkie gave birth to 6 healthy pups. The mother%26amp;father are great parents, are only problem is since the puppies were born the father named Little Bit hikes his leg and urinates on things. I know this is the way male dogs mark there domain but is there anyway we can change this behavior? All six puppies were sold within 12 weeks, we started selling at 8 weeks. Could this behavior change now that the puppies are gone? Are boy dog marks on everything how can we change this?
First and foremost get him neutered. This will DRAMATICALLY reduce is need to mark everywhere. Also, honestly if you are asking this question you don't know enough about dogs to be breeding them, even if you did find homes for them. There are Yorkie pups in shelters that could have had those 6 homes, theoretically.

Spray the area that he marks with nature's miracle. This will remove the smell so he will not learn to go there. Then, when you catch him in the act say %26quot;no%26quot; or shake a can on penny's, startling him. He is asserting his dominance. You can also work with him more, teaching him mor commands. Put him in what is called a %26quot;long stay%26quot; - making him stay down for 30 minutes until you release him. This will show him that you are the boss. I hope you sold the puppies under a spay neuter contract...if not that's 36+ more Yorkie puppies that will be born and bought instead or rescued :-(Are boy dog marks on everything how can we change this?
The only way I know for a dog not to mark his territory is to get him neutered but as he has already reached full maturity this may not work in Little Bits case. It could be that his behaviour will eventually return to normal now that the pups are away, if not you could try a carpet/upholstry cleaner to get rid of all signs that there were other wee dogs in the house.

Get him put down ?Are boy dog marks on everything how can we change this?
Have him neutered. Usually neutered males do not mark. Are boy dog marks on everything how can we change this?
This is his way to show that your house is his territory. I have stud living in my house w/4 females and is hard work but you need to show him it is unacceptable. Its like housetraining. Get after him and make him stay w/you. You are the boss, be the alpha and let him know this. They also have a wrap around diaper you may use on him to prevent dammage to the house. My stud totally respects me and wont lift his leg as long as I'm home and occassionally does when I leave so I use the wrap when hes left alone and crate his butt. This should pass once the home gets to normal again. Your stud will probably do the same thing when females come into heat so be warned and have him under high guard. Never think this is natural and to let it go...its unacceptable and you let him know this. Are boy dog marks on everything how can we change this?
