Wiimote behavior change when playing WiiSports Bowling Game.?

When we played the bowling game the first few days - the bowling worked great! The ball went where you thought it should go, based on how one threw it; it traveled the path straight where it was thrown.

Then, the next day (about day 3), wham - it now lists to the left every time no matter who uses the Wiimote (two of us are right handed and one of us is a ambidextrous person - if that matters).

I don't understand. It was working fine. We didn't drop it or anything and suddenly the balls go - either at an angle from where you released to the left corner OR worse yet, it's traveling the path you threw, everything looks great, then suddenly, wham, at the last minute it charges off to the left. This has become very frustrating to us. We were so excited about this family type activity and now we are sad because it stopped working correctly after such a short while, and we can't figure out why. We have not, all 3 of us all the sudden, started twisting our hand to cause a spin, besides, it's not a spin that you see on the ball. When we have twisted our wrist, we can see the ball spin. This isn't a twist of the wrist causing this problem. This is strange, the ball goes in a direct path completely different from the throw OR as said earlier it goes straight then at the last minute veers off to the left. When it does the second thing, it is usually a pretty great amount of change. So, while one could %26quot;adjust%26quot; by aiming further to the right, this %26quot;trick%26quot; doesn't always work, besides it's frustrating to have to over accommodate. Also, when you do this adjustment, it only works when the ball travels at an angle directly out of the throw, not when it does the straight and then veer off thing.

Please, I am sorry this is so long, but could someone help? Thank you so much for your time reading my problem.Wiimote behavior change when playing WiiSports Bowling Game.?
It sounds like a combination of two things:

1) You not understanding the mechanics behind how the ball grips. It will grab the lane and veer off more quickly if you let go of it low in the throw, and go straight longer if you chuck it in the air down the lane. That would explain that variance.

2) Sounds like the accelerometer got stuck or broken, causing it to always read a strong spin to one side. To unstick it, if that is the problem, turn the Wiimote upside down and smack it on your palm a few times firmly but not excesively hard (don't want to break your hand). If it is broke, it will need to be sent to Nintendo for repairs or simply replaced.
