Negative behavior change after neutering?

I own a rottweiler, he is about 2 now and we had him neutered in February. Since then, he has forgotten what we trained him about being stupid in the house and nibbling fingers (not aggressively) and he is suddenly more aggressive to other dogs. Before he had the chop, he was the soppiest and nicest dog you could meet, he wouldn't hurt a fly. A dog tried to attack him once and he didn't know what to do, he didn't know how to attack back. But now he would snap back.

He witnessed another dog attacking a dog, could this have caused this sudden change?

I am just worried because he lives with three chihuahuas and I dont want him turning on them because they love him and he loves them. They usually lie on him and use him to get up on the sofa.

Anyone know what happened?Negative behavior change after neutering?
Usually the opposite scenario happens. My male dog became a lot less interested in dominating other males after neutering. Right after the surgery, how did everybody react to him? Did people's behavior change towards him, felt bad for him, petted him more, gave him more treats? Sometimes people humanize a dog by imagining how the dog feels if THEY had to go through that. If the family starts feeling bad and treating him differently he's definitely going to start acting differently also. That's one thing to consider.

If you continue to treat him how you did before without feeling sorry for him and give him enough exercise and rules, than he should go back to how he use to be also. It doesn't sound like a physical issue since he should be fully recovered by now, but a psychological issue.Negative behavior change after neutering?
There's no telling what happened, but more than likely his behavior change isn't due to neutering. Getting a dog fixed doesn't alter their behavior.

If you're seeing any sudden negative changes, I'd call a vet, just to rule out that anything could be wrong medically.Negative behavior change after neutering?
Not certain if a vet did the neuter or did a clinic ? clinics or shelters dont always use pain meds to save money.

Then perhaps it is coincidence that his miss behaving is for attention or the heat outside and not the surgery. It does take 9 weeks to get over the surgery according to my Vet as I recently had my 1 year old neutered.. in March. he was acting wierd a few weeks ago and now he is back to himself again.

it may be a set back but work with him again and spend extra time training him and he might come around. Other wise be safe for those lil rat like chuhuahuas..lol they are only a snack for him.Negative behavior change after neutering?
something happened to him. had nothing to do with the neutering.Negative behavior change after neutering?
Tha clinic whre he got neutered is the problem. That place was not clean or don't use chemicals to do so.Or it can be that the doctor or for that matter whoever did him has another dog's scent. So ur dog now thinks that he got no turf, cannot control turfs(by peeing) or is afraid taht he will loose what's left or be in pain again if he confront another dog. What u can try is take him to dog's park for a continuous time %26amp; everyday or somewhere where there r dogs, then invite those dogs at ur place so he gets adapted or gets confused %26amp; forget about the experience. This can help u him not to be a pussy cat anymore.
